DIY Botanical Antlers
By Rebecca Simpson.
Have some fun with this easy and affordable DIY botanical Antlers project. They would make for a lovely gift to a friend or enjoy them for yourself and place them around your home, on your dressing table or hang and use them on your wall.
What you will need:
Artificial Magnolia’s or any artificial flower of your choice
Coaster or Timber Square
Blu tack (optional)
What to do:
1. Start by gluing the flat end of your antlers onto your coaster or timber square at either end. The coaster or timber square will become the foundation for your flowers to be attached too and helps create height to the finished product. Press the antlers and coaster together tightly for added secureness.
2. Once your antlers are secure, take your flowers and cut off any unnecessary foliage such as leaves and stems from your flowers so that you are purely left with what you wish to attach to your antlers.
3. Next, simply play around with the positioning of your flowers and how full you would like your design to look. If it helps, simply blu tack them in place so that you are comfortable when it comes to gluing them on.
4. Once your happy with the positioning, take your hot glue gun and attach your flowers to the antlers and coaster depending on your design.
