TRAVEL: Marrakesh – Peacock Pavilions
By Emma Clapham.
It has almost been a year since my mum, sister and I fell in love with Marrakesh and more specifically Peacock Pavilions, so I thought I would share my little photo album with you all. I am not going to go into too much depth about this place, as I feel my writing can not do it justice. All I can tell you is that this place is magical!
Peacock Pavilions is a handmade, artisanal boutique hotel in an olive grove on the outskirts of Marrakesh. Part of the M.Montague offerings, Peacock Pavilions was designed and built by American blogger and designer, Maryam Montague, and her American husband, Chris Redecke.
Maryam, is possibly one of the most inspirational females I have met, when you walk into Peacock Pavilions you are walking into her home and by the end of your stay it will feel like your home. Whether you are looking to relax, participate in one of the yoga camps, escape from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh or simply enjoy the quiet surroundings and decor of the Pavilions, you will love this place.
Some of my favourite memories from my week at Peacock Pavilions?
- The cocktails (amazing)
- Private open air cinema
- Private dinners
- The food
- The decor (probably my fave)
If you are planning a trip to Marrakesh please get in touch with Maryam and stay at Peacock Pavilions, I promise you wont regret it. It is such a private oasis with only 4 Pavilions (and all of the pavilions are different).
