The Annual Yellowglen Influencer Dinner

By Emma Hawkins.

Last week was the annual Yellowglen Influencer Dinner, a night in which influential women empower one another by coming together and celebrating each other’s successes (and of course to celebrate the Spring Racing Carnival). It was hosted by my girl crush, mentor and Yellowglen’s Creative Director Samantha Wills who always inspires her guests and is one of the most successful yet down to earth women I have ever come across. Samantha described the Yellowglen ethos of making Everyday Moments Sparkling to the guests as “The meaning behind this is, all too often we only celebrate the big milestones, but we believe it’s important to celebrate all the little things along the way”.

I am truly honoured to work for a brand that is so supportive and empowering towards women and as my role as Lifestyle Director of Yellowglen I am constantly aiming to bring this brand to life and everything we believe in through creating engaging and inspiring content, whilst styling such events like this one. I wanted to extend our “Sparkle In Spring” Races theme to create a garden wonderland for the dinner. With a mixture of Spring blooms with a delicious pastel colour palette and complementary gold tones through the cutlery, tea light candle holders (Kmart for the win again) and the take home wine bags our guests received, it was a stunning room. Further, if the gorgeous centrepieces and surrounding blooms weren’t enough ‘spring’, we had an illustrator create the menu’s and our guests name tags in a stunning floral design that was in line with our colour palette.  It was held at

It was held at   The Glasshaus   in Cremone, a phenomenal venue that was intimate and special. We served our signature Gin Gin Sparkling cocktail on arrival and had a mixture of Sparkling, Rose, Chardonnay and Riesling served throughout the night. We opted for a wonderful grazing/shared menu, which changed my mind completely on grazing food (I’m usually not a fan, however, the food was delicious and it looked gorgeous on the tables). We finished off the night with personalised doughnuts from Morgans Bakery for everyone (definitely a crowd favourite) and our guests went home with a gorgeous Samantha Wills Headpiece and a signature Peacock Lane Bottle in a gold wine tote bag.
