Last week I checked out Victoria Harbour’s newest and quirkiest community, Knowledge Market, which is officially home to some of Australia’s most inspirational mentors, performers and facilitators whose workshops and events span all areas of culture, food, art, education and personal development.
Open to the public seven days per week, Knowledge Market is a truly unique space where people from all walks of life are encouraged to collaborate and share ideas, talent and experiences, stimulating our ‘collaborative economy’. From digital storytelling, cooking and freestyle dance to meditation, social media and team building, Knowledge Market’s comprehensive daily program will leaves no topic unexplored.
Being a person that loves working and connecting with other people, sometimes I struggle working for myself, in terms of getting inspired and I just genuinely miss bouncing ideas and brainstorming with people. So, this is something that I will definitely be partaking in myself from time to time. I could also see it being a perfect place for those corporates who need to have a break and try some different activities, it would also be a great way for team bonding exercises. So whether you are working with lots of people or on your own like me, this is a fantastic new initiative that I believe offers something for everyone.
