Eastland Beauty Garden Launch
By Emma Hawkins.
Well clearly I cannot get enough of Eastland. It has quickly become by go to place when I am in Melbourne as I can find everything I need in the one place and to be honest I just love the experience. The architecture, the vallet, the range of shops, the interiors and it never seems crowded due the the clever way it has been designed. And now they have added another incredible section to the lifestyle destination…. A Beauty Garden!
Eastland collaborated with internationally acclaimed London-based artist, Rebecca Louise Law, to create a permanent, inverted garden of 150,000 hand-made preserved flowers suspended above the new Beauty Garden retail concept. Called ‘The Canopy’, the installation uses flowers as sculpture, presenting guests to Eastland with a permanent art installation of natural beauty.
It’s definitely a new approach to beauty retail as the brands do not have traditional ‘shopfronts’ which encourages a more open environment for guests to explore without traditional shopping confines.
The Beauty Garden is home to a range of iconic Australian and international beauty products, including some of my favourites:
Napoleon Perdis MAC, MECCA Cosmetica Inglot, Crabtree & Evelyn Jacqueline Evans Skincare, Kiehl’s Ikou, Endota Spa, Pressed Juice and additional brands including MYER (beauty), The Body Shop and David Jones (beauty).
Make sure you go check it out as my photos can’t do this new area justice, its so relaxing and truly a wonderful experience.
