Located in Ringwood, Eastland has recently undergone a $665 million transformation to become one of Melbourne’s most progressive and exciting urban communities. Ahead of the introduction of ‘The Arcade’, a boutique space dedicated beautifully crafted accessories and championing up-and-coming designers, which is opening this week, I decided it was about time I went and had a look at this destination.
I can honestly say, I was blown away! I don’t know what I was expecting, but as soon as I arrived I couldn’t stop admiring the artwork, architecture, of course the amazing selection of shops, but also the food (jimmy grants, hi), and the amazing town square area of this destination.
Eastland is the only retail destination in Melbourne’s East that has every major Australian retailer and supermarket in one place, alongside international favourites H&M, Uniqlo and coveted fashion brands such as Scanlan Theodore. Unlike other destinations they have a substantial selection of interior and homeware stores (Which as you could imagine took my eye). This convenience is complimented by their suite of exceptional services; Ummm hello valet parking, parcel valet, guest lounge and dining concierge!
There is a level of authenticity and community at Eastland that I have yet to feel at any other lifestyle destination on this scale. There really is something for everyone here and it has this amazing calm energy, not a manic crazy energy you expect at such a large destination. Check out my pictures below of my little visit and I promise to do another post after the opening of the new area this week.
P.s. I’m wearing Country Road
