Reuse your spaghetti or jam jars with this multifunctional DIY idea for your wedding. The vases can either be hung from the reception tent or hang them from your chairs at your ceremony. The good thing about them is that after the wedding is done they can also be used at home or for other parties.

What you need:

Glass jars ( any size you like)

Hot glue gun

1. Cut a long length of twine to begin with. Using your hot glue gun, place a small amount of glue on both sides of the glass jar.

step 2

2. Wrap the twine around the top of the jar numerous times until the glue has been covered, keeping both a short and long length of twine free. Using the short length of twine, tie the twine in a knot on one side.

step 4

3. To create the hanging section of your vase, use the remaining long length of twine.  On the opposite side of the jar to where you just tied the knot, thread the twine through the wrapped twine. Tie in a secure knot.

step 6

4. Cute the spare length of twine short next to the knot. I also used the hot glue gun to secure the knot to the jar for extra strength.

step 7
